If it is , it's probably cheaper to get a new fixture. Newer fluorescent light ballasts don't seem to have nearly the life that older fixtures did, imo.

If it is a T12 fixture it will defiantly have 2 separate 2 lamp ballast.. probably bad ballast.

Check ground
Check Sockets
Check Voltage

Then bad ballast.

If ballast is bad, go ahead and retrofit to T8, 4 lamp ballast. Doubtful you find a T12 ballast and T12 lamps will not be available much longer
