I graduated from the LSU EMBA program in 2006. Our class had a healthy mix of careers ranging from business owners, engineers, health care professionals, process operators, bankers, etc.
The opportunity to network is definitely a benefit of the program.
Looking at the the EMBA class profile on the LSU website, our average age was probably 35, several students were in their mid-20’s and a couple over 55. I was 36 when I graduated. If your prefer the EMBA over the PMBA, Don’t sell your life experiences short, the class will benefit with you being a part of it.
On the website, Dr. Young Chun is named as the MBA advisor and he is totally a kick arse dude. One of the best people that I have ever met and a superb professor. Former S. Korean military and, if I recall correctly, an expert card counter who strikes fear in the hearts of Pit bosses—when they allow him in the casino.
Dr. Faik Koray seemed to be one of the happiest people on the planet and could make macroeconomics interesting and fun to listen to.
Dr. Richard White, former Coastie with some cool stories to go along with his lectures.
Don’t hesitate to call or text me with any more questions or if you need a note of recommendation. It would be my honor to help in any way.
Although these look more like mug shots than happy pics, (vet visit to get them spayed), Stella and Pudge are doing great and send their best.

What is the salary range if you do MBA at LSU? I have worked in my field for 10 years and work from home for out of state employer. My pay is based on national average. I want to know if it makes a huge diff for me or not

how long did it take you to finish your GED?

I’m sure the passage of time and subsequent maturity, work experience, a good GMAT score and connections within the program could help to offset poor grades in undergraduate degree.
