Crime would be less of a concern than

1. Every distant relative, casual acquaintance and total stranger with a sob story hitting you up for a handout.

2. Nuisance lawsuits. "Saintsfan 1977 is my baby daddy." "Saintsfan1977 agreed to split the proceeds with me." Even when the claim is totally without merit, you still have to mount a defense and it gets expensive and tiresome.

One of the big winners in California had a guy claim half ownership in the ticket with no basis in fact and it still dragged out for a few years.
