Haha hey I said could have a great season. Which for him means he improves and becomes reliable and consistent. Not talking about him being all pro. But a solid decent safety, I can see it.
I guess your definition of great is different than the majority of ppl.

A great season for Jenkins. Didnt say he would be a great safety in the nfl. I said he could have a great season for himself. Which means He would be playing above his average or normal play.

If you have more bad games then good games , how are you a quality player, even as a backup?
And I do like Mack alot. He showed promise last year.
But if you can get a CB better than Greer, P-Rob, etc. why not take him?
I still feel our biggest needs are an edge rusher and CB.

They just signed Steven Jackson.

Sooo!! Backup, man. Dude gets hurt alot, him and ivory complement each other in that department.

They have a very good backup already....
Posted on 3/28/13 at 10:40 pm to tubucoco
They have Jacquizze Rodgers and Jason Snelling. Snelling is a good back up RB. And Jacquizze is their "Sproles type" RB.

I've seen Snelling. He is okay. Saints RB's compared to Atlanta, Saints win. But Jackson has upgraded them.

Ask the saints who is Patrick Lewis. they thought enough of him to draft in the first. Patrick Lewis to me is a quality backup, not starting material, but enough to be a backup.
