vick has not been very good this year, and yeah i know it's only been two games. He had a better passing performance than last week, but in the 10 minutes I watched, turned the ball over 3 times...and he got knocked out of the game

The Eagles defense is nothing scary.

and the falcons have a horrible o-line and they are going to get absolutely shredded when they play good quarterbacks.

like I said two teams going nowhere this season. The Eagles will make the playoffs, sure, but they're one and done as usual.

If Brees went down, the Saints would turn back into the Ain'ts

You are so smart sir.

Except for Brees this whole team staff players owners are all just the same ol aint's. Nothing has changed a lick. Not the players coaches play calling drafting FA pick-ups contracts...yep they suck mighty bad. Except for Drew of course. Wise beyond your years to make such a profound statement. You should be Galactic leader #1.

I know I'm being a "bit" biased here but don't sleep on the Falcons. Why? I'll explain.

1) We should be getting Todd McClure back at center next week or within the next 1-2 weeks. Instantly an upgrade at C over Hawley.

2) Julio actually got better in the Eagles game as it wore on into the 3rd and 4th quarters against one of, if not the best, secondaries in the game this year. Re-watching that game shows that Julio and Harry Douglas opened up a lot of holes for Tony G to have such a monster game. Not to mention Julio made an amazing catch on 3rd and 12 which put a spark in that O. In short, I think the O is turning around the funk they were in.

3) On the D side of the ball, that was the first game for Sanders and Hayden and both performed average-good. They've had all of 3 weeks learning the playbook and "should" get better with a few more weeks under their belts.

Now, with that being said, IF Clabo and Svitek (the backup) continue to suck at the T spot - Matt Ryan could very well end up on IR by week 8.

Main Point: Just don't think you're going to go 2-0 against the Falcons this season. We ALWAYS play each other tough, even when 1 or both teams are good/garbage.

Maybe you're right. I just see an 8 win team.

It's pretty fair assessment. You've gotta pray McClure can at least shore up blitz pick ups and the line calls. That o-line is hot garbage right now. I saw a lot of fans complaining about not throwing down field, but you really can't right now with that o-line.

That game last night was sloppy by both teams. It's still early in the season. Lord knows we've had our fair share of sloppy wins.

Not too many teams around the league can survive their star QB going down.
