This team's only real weakness is LBer and MAYBE 2nd CB.

About it really because we loaded everywhere else.

2nd CB looks worse than it is because teams won't throw at Lewis. With a true #1 corner, why would you test him, they'll throw at the other guy. So, it looks worse bc he's always getting picked on. The safeties are elite and will help the 2nd corner out. White will be just fine at nickel.

LB is the real problem. Not enough athleticism at this position. But honestly, what do you expect. We haven't drafted LB. Its a position the Saints obviously don't put much value in. Galette is our best, undrafted. Humber and Knox, undrafted, prob our best coverage LBs. Lofton and Hawthorne, FAs. Neither of them are overly athletic, just thumpers. We'll have to hide the LBs which is why we play 3 safeties all the time. I'd rather have Bush out there than Hawthorne. Raise your hand if you disagree with that.

I don't have a problem with our pass defense. Our coverage and pass pressure is much improved. Run defense is another story. The starters haven't been great but the backups are worrisome. I'm really disappointed in special teams , both coverage and return. We seem to be overly conservative in our approach.
