Question about Bill Johnson

I know he is considered one of the best D-line coaches, but why hasn't he been able to get the D-line any better especially pass rushing? Assuming he stays on as coach do you think he will be on a short leash?

I'm not convinced we any good pass rushers personally. Smith is capable but inconsistent and getting older. Ellis should do better than he did last year and has, but to me the body of work isn't there to squarely pin it on coaching. Galette is raw and Jordan never has been known for his pass rushing. I just don't see the pass rushing talent on this team.

I still don't understand the drafting of Jordan. Came from a 3-4 system, we needed pass rushers off the edge and stuffers up the middle...yet they draft him. He has a looong ways to go before he ever becomes a good pass rusher. Hopefully Spag can work his magic because Jordan has great potential.

Ive always have liked him as a coach. He can only do so much with the talent he has to work with
