I'll admit I don't keep up much with NFL coaches but, as far as hiring a defensive coordinator why not give Clancy Pendergast a call?? Looking at his history I think he has been pretty solid everywhere he has coached. With the 49'ers getting rid of Tomsula I'm sure he'd be available.
