He has been running like this the past 4 games...perhaps he realizes his contract situation

Whether it's the contract or just finally realizing the NFL vs NCAA difference, he has been great all year despite all of the bitching people here do

He hits the holes the way we've always yelled for him to do. He lowers the shoulder instead of jumping out of bounds. He finds the first hole and takes it instead of looking for the wide open path for the huge play and he looks 100x better now than the past years because of it.

I agree with all of that. As he's gotten healthier from the knee surgery, he's been running harder and harder all year. Like you said, he's looking to make contact. I think the bitching is due to the fact that a lot of people here have an inability to recognize progress if it conflicts with their previous impression, or are just too damn stubborn to do so.
