I thought Brees was touched in the helmet before he brought the ball back and while falling.
Which would mean he was down when he landed and his progress no longer moved forward.

Wasn't that Thom Breneman? Woulda thought it was the Reds playing the Cubs....I'm not the "the announcers hate us" guy but he sure seemed to have a burr in his britches for the Saints. This call and several others that he thought were bad calls in the Saints favor he really went on-and-on about.
