This is very understandable and reasonable. But most of my friends, family and coworkers cant see that. Its one thing to hate Kobe and the Lakers, but to continously say the refs are costing the Hornets games and such is putting a black eye on the great games that have been played. And regardless of who you're cheering for that isnt cool.
This is my take on the refs.... To be the best you have to beat the best.... Historically in all sports, the best sometimes get 50/50 calls their way.... In no way shape or form do these calls determine the outcome of games.... So if any team wants that kind of treatment, it's time to step up and be the best...

I honestly think for the most part, this has been a pretty ok officiating series. Hornets are overmatched at every position except for the point guard. The fact that it is 3-2 to me proves we are playing outside of our talent level. Ariza an offensive threat and doing great on Kobe? Did anyone really expect him to be that good overall? Probably not. Landry has played well for most of the series and is playing bigger than his size. CP3 is playing like he was a few years ago. Turnovers have killed us. Being undersized also has lead to being outrebounded. I for one am extremely happy that the hornets have made this a good series and brought even more life into the team for the fans.
Oh and all this without the top scorer and an former all-star as well. If we make this go to 7, I'll be ecstatic. Nobody believed we had a remote shot. frick them and lets make it a 7 game series with these frickers!

y NBA rule the Kobe foul on Emeka should have been a flagrant (contact around the neck/head area). In the same breath, the Chris Paul two handed foul on Kobe in game 4 was also around that area, and there was no Flagarant call.
you have to be kidding me? CP3 barely touched kobe on that play and also hit the ball. Kobe's looked pretty intentional.
Brown should be suspended for the next game

Agreed on Brown. That was terrible. He should be fined and suspended. Only reason he hasn't been is he got lucky he made no contact. Willie Green did absolutely NOTHING to him when I saw the replay. fricking douche

A real Lakers fan, not some bandwagon hopper.
My dad's from LosAngeles and most of his family still lives there.
You do know the Clippers are from L.A. Why not cheer for them

Cali also has has the Kings, and the Warriors. My guess is you were probably based closer to San Fran than L.A.

I think it is because the clippers suck and almost always have been the red headed stepchild in L.A.
Oh... and Jerry Buss is a saint
