It's sometimes a convenience, but I really don't care about the affiliation. I got into this thing when the ownership stuff didn't happen immediately, as it was said it would.

In the end, we had no watchdog looking out for the people, the fans, or the city. So, I wanted to try to fill that role.

In the end, I imagine I'll just end up taking the boring stuff from government meetings and business reports and turning them into differently boring bits of analysis so people can be appropriately informed in case we start heading down the path of relocation, etc.

I'll do enough of the other stuff to enable the stuff I think is important to happen.

But, seriously, it takes all of us to make this sumbitch happen.
