Seriously considering heading to Portland Labor Day weekend for the Megadeth/Lamb of God show. Booked the flights last night. I make a trip every year to catch a show and always try to go somewhere that I have never been. Probably will stay downtown in the Rose District. Fill me in with all the gory details…

Well, I doubt I'll be going to that show. I'll actually on the coast grilling tomahawks with the girlfriend'sfamily. If you're staying downtown just be aware of your surroundings. There is an exceptional amount of thievery, homelessness and overall ridiculousness. Especially over the last 2 years. Don't leave anything in a vehice.
With that said, there are also a lot of decent restaurants, bars, cavehicle, and unique locations almost everywhere. By that time a lot of places should be opened up again. There are a lot of stores, (like one in east Portland called "Devout", specifically extremely metal related) that im wondering about. If you don't feel like walking or uber/left the public transportation is one of the best in the country.
There is a bar near there called Creepys which is decent
