A shot in the dark here, but has anyone been to this? It's on my SO's bucket list, and I'm trying my damndest to make it happen for her. So far I've learned it's literally one of the most sought after tickets in the world of any kind, and face value for good seats is a thousand euros . You can't even buy them outright, you have to register a year in advance for a lottery, although you can buy them at a steep premium on the secondary market.

If anybody has been or has any information, TIA

I haven't been to see the Vienna Symphony orchestra--but have seen a few others. Even if classical isn't your thing, you should at least check out one or two. It is impressive.

I used to say many years ago that I would never go to a Broadway play., but after I finally went to one, I was blown away...now I try to catch a couple every time I go to NYC.

Never been. It´s always on TV in Spain, however. It´s been a classic in our house. Basic background stuff, it´s not New Year´s without it.

I would love to hear The Radetzky March live at the Vienna New Year's concert.

A couple years ago I looked at what it took to get tickets, and I basically resigned to the fact that I would never be able to see it live.
