damn, their album last year came out of nowhere and was amazing..

one of my bucket lists bands to see.. I missed them when they played in BR with Bush & Toadies, just a total bummer

That sucks. Inlet was my favorite album of last year.

This sucks. So young and Inlet gave me hope I’d get to see them live again.

He didn't perform with them on their 2015 tour, so it's still possible.. plenty of bands still went on after their drummer died

Listening to inlet now. It starts off so damn strong with that riff. Love this album.

It reminds me a lot of the beginning Only Shallow, the first track on Loveless. Two of my favorite album beginnings ever.

The ending of the album (last half of Shapeshifter) is absolutely fantastic too.

In the Den #2 started out as my favorite. I figured that would change, but nope.

Rest In Peace. Hum was special and Inlet was a masterpiece.

Inlet was my introduction to Hum. I’m finally getting around to checking out You’d Prefer an Astronaut and Downward is Heavenward, and they are fantastic. Right there with Inlet. I could even see Downward is Heavenward become my favorite with a few more listens.

Comin Home is an absolute banger.

ETA: listening to DiH some more and damn…..Dreamboat, Comin Home, Isle of Cheetah, If You Are to Bloom, Afternoon with the Axolotls, The Scientists, etc are all pretty much perfect. This band is so fricking good.

I know this is a fairly acclaimed album, but I’m not sure why it isn’t more often mentioned as one of the absolute best of the 90s.

Yea, this album is perfect to me. It didn’t get much attention, as with all of Hum’s stuff. Green To Me got some college radio airplay, I heard it on KLSU a lot.

You’d Prefer An Astronaut was their most acclaimed by far. Stars got a lot of attention, I heard it a few times on KLSU and liked it. Then saw them open for Bush at the PMAC, bought the album and loved it.

I love the dirty sound of their first album, Electra 2000. Iron Clad Lou, Shovel, Winder, and Diffuse are my favorites off it.
