A thread for all things vintage audio

Starting a general vintage audio thread for tips, help, troubleshooting, sharing pics, gear talk, setup advice, restoration stories, whatever you want to throw in.
This is separate from the long running audiophile thread since that one is pretty heavily turntable specific and I wanted a wider sandbox for receivers, speakers, amps, tubes, tape decks, quad, and all the weird vintage rabbit holes in general.
My current vintage lineup includes Sherwood S 7200, S 7310, and S 8900 receivers (I'm a Sherwood and Dynaquad fan), a Technics SL 3300 turntable, Realistic Optimus 4 speakers, a Lafayette Dynaquad adapter, and a Technics RS TR355 cassette deck that is currently not working.
I am especially interested in Dynaquad and quad related setups overall and would love to hear from anyone else running similar gear or experimenting with it. Beginners welcome, experts welcome, lurkers welcome. Let us see what you all are running.
