Egwenne was good from this book. The Aes Sedai overall just piss me off and the fact that anyone wants to serve them is retarded.

After reading this thread, I might actually pick up the series again. Thanks for the frank discussion on this series.
BTW, Brent Weeks' Night Angel Trilogy is a great read. The entire series is out and ready to read.

Yes. Yes, I did. Loved the book.
Though, I'm not sure Jordan is getting enough credit. This was the first THIRD of what was supposed to be the last book. I doubt Sanderson wrote the majority of this one.
Oh, and yes, we all know George RR martin is God blah blah blah.
Seems to me he's not too keen on keeping to his promised schedule either.
