The Sparks Brothers • Documentary by Edgar Wright • ETA Now on Netflix

Saw this in the theater over the weekend. It's Edgar Wright, so I knew it would be entertaining and complimentary towards the band.
Sparks wasn't on TV that much during the 70's, but once you saw them you didn't forget them. Ron Mael's persona was so different from anything else out there, his image was stuck in your mind forever.
Entertaining doc, a little long at 2:20, but well worth the watch. Nice to see an old band that doesn't take themselves too seriously (while keeping an artistic focus for fifty years).

I'm glad Baton Rouge theaters are showing independent docs, but I'll wait until I can just watch it on my couch
