I see that Richard Hammond has a series on Amazon prime, haven’t heard of this but seems that it could be funny. Has anyone watched this yet?
quote:
Shipwrecked together on a desert island, Richard Hammond and Tory Belleci face the challenge of their lives, using nothing but their smarts and their scrapped shipwreck for survival.

I tried to watch it yesterday. Love Richard Hammon in the GT, but this was unwatchable. Made it about half way through the episode and turned it off.

Watched 2 episodes last night. I’m a Hammond fan but this was bad. Some of what they did was interesting but overall it was just kind of stupid.
The premise would make a great Grand Tour episode, but the other guy is annoying and it was way too scripted.

I binged it last night. Some of the stuff was good but some of it was pretty annoying.
It would have worked better as a more competitive or informative thing instead of the building segments being part of the clunky "storyline."
Take the waterwheel segment: showing the idea and construction was interesting; but then tying it to Hammond wanting to charge his electric toothbrush and whatnot was just stupid and aggravating.
