Decent 1957 b&w horse opera. Garner's third movie appearence. Available on Amazon Prime. Angie Dickinson in a supporting role.

Whoa! This is certainly a movie I never expected to get its own TD thread
It's OK, but can't compare to the classics Scott made during this period w/director Budd Boetticher & writer Burt Kennedy (Seven Men From Now, The Tall T, Ride Lonesome, Comanche Station)
Clint Walker, shooting Cheyenne on the Warners lot, moseys over to the SAMB set.
The last month or two I've been rewatching Cheyenne. Garner shows up in three episodes -- in the last, he actually plays a villain (not very convincingly, I must admit). He would be cast in Maverick soon afterward.
