Agreed. The escape scene and then the scene above that you described both had my heart racing. My wife was boo-hooing the whole time. Really enjoyed the movie up until that point.

I won't be silly as to say nothing happened, but I didn't enjoy the 2nd half of the movie (outside of room) nearly as much as the first.

I though this movie was really well done, but like someone else mentioned, due to how emotional it was, it was a bit of a chore to watch.
