Apparently the script for the pilot got leaked and it was 100% woke garbage. The network ordered a major rewrite. One of the girls was a lesbian and one had stopped speaking to a family member (her grandpa maybe) because he voted for Trump. Despite all the politics they’re trying to inject, the bottom line is that the PPG are supposed to be in grade school, not grown women.

It was Professor Utonimum, their creator. All three of them are on the outs with him in the sequel series.

This show has had the stench of grisly death upon it for some time now. The concept sounded fun, I can see why Dove Cameron and Chloe Bennet signed up for it, but the execution has been horrible.
Some network exec needs to take this show out behind the woodshed and put it out of our misery.
