This. Jafar is one of my favorite Disney comedic villains. Surely they could've found a tall English dude of middle eastern descent. The guy they cast wasn't near evil enough.

Probably my favorite of the live action Disney remakes. I enjoyed it, but let’s be honest it didn’t really pick up until Will Smith showed up

He definitely has the right look.
It wouldn't matter if he can't sing, since they cut out Jafar's song from the original animated version.
