What a bad movie, more of a drama than action film.

At times the cut is bad using bad footage of sub par camera work. Out of focus and blared footage in gaps is use in the cut.

The effects are nothing to write home about, again very sub par.

It was a pretty terrible story too
Spoiler below

So everyone wants a wristband...cant get in without one. Then at the end its just we gonna take these walk ups in and care for them. Looked like they had plenty of room though.

I am typically not one of those people, I really couldn’t care less what kind of message my entertainment is trying to send, but this movie tried too hard to be #Woke

A bunch of gun toting men enter the pharmacy, shooting up the place, and the wife is confronted by a young black man who spares her life. The very next scene, however, she's taken in by a redneck couple whose husband is clearly abusive to his wife. Said husband, shortly thereafter, kidnaps the son, hoping to use him to get him and his wife into one of the evacuation bases to the shelter in Greenland

Another really eye rolling moment is when the husband is with a convoy to try to meet his wife where they're planning to meet at his wife's father's ranch. Again, he s taken in and told of a way to save his family by a black man named Connor. Connor is killed off in a fight that takes place in the back of the truck they're riding in by a redneck who wants John's wristband because he doesn't deserve it, as he's Scottish born, rather than American

Besides that the shelter ultimately takes in the downtrodden despite not having the proper clearance kind of sending the heavy-handed message that no one should be turned away

Um, yeah that’s not a “take”, or conjecture. That quite literally is the plot. Like, it’s not even subtext, they don’t even try to hide that that’s what they were going for.

I wonder if a family in the hood would get out alive with those wristbands?

Would have been a short movie

Good take overall. I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t take the bracelets and dump the mom and kid together. At any rate, I’m glad I didn’t pay for this abortion of a movie.

Yeah, all that ID check, cross referenced with e-verify codes on people's phones, but as long as you make it there...

So random guy in a truck tells the father about some airfield up north in Canada that'll take who ever can get there 'on a direct flight to the bunker.' Then, it's all over the news, so pretty much anyone can just show up.

But the best part? The dad yelling at the pilot , oblivious to the fact that weight limits on an airplane is a real thing, and if it's overloaded, NO ONE gets there.

Pilot : Ummm, OK. Since you put it that way, everyone gets to fly. But you better not be lying about your weight!!!

Yeah, this was comically stupid. There was no point in kidnapping a diabetic child.
