Is the 5th season the one that's on tv now or have they already had 5 complete seasons?

if you watch it on nbc it's in the middle of season 5, but it has aired on direct tv already. they get the jump.
as for how many seasons. i've read on here this is the last but not sure if it's been officaly announced. it was said coach taylor (don't know his real name) was trying out for parts in a new show for the fall. i don't think it would be a show without him.

Season 4 is what's playing right now on NBC, the whole East Dillion vs West Dillion thing. Season 5 is the last season and I believe they just wrapped up production on the show, that's why people are now starting to interview for other shows for new jobs.

guess i should've looked it up, i assumed season 5 was on air now. i thought that seemed like too many lol.
