It kind of does though if Fear watchers know her ultimate fate. Alpha Madison would eventually have to reveal the fate of the other Fear characters. I just don't see how that wouldn't hurt the interest in Fear unless they flash forwarded to the TWD timeline the next season.
I know book readers knew a lot about the general direction of TWD but even they change up the book fate of characters from time to time. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

If only Madison is shown on walking dead, It still Keeps suspense on Fear tv show because you know on any given episode, only she is safe. Anyone else can die at any moment on any fear episode, or possibly just separate away from her.
I guarantee the ratings on fear will sky rocket when she appears on walking dead.

It’s kinda like the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
Everyone knew annakin and Palpatines ultimate fate, but we all watched eagerly to see how annakin came to be the awesome villain darth Vader.
Also, see Better Call Saul. Another great example of a very popular prequel series that you know the fate of the character’s future going in.

If it does play out this way, I think Nick fits the Beta role and will continue as a character on TWD. I think FTWD will end.
