Ahh thanks. I was hoping that it meant if I have HD box in the front room, I can watch HD in my bedroom.

Not true for DirecTV anymore. As of last month, they switched to Sonic Tap. Not a bad choice because at the moment, they play deeper tracks on the stations I like. This comes from a Sirius subscriber.

DISH has a very limited form of MRV, the Directv version is more robust. DTV's version basically networks all of your receivers together to be able to watch any DVR recordings on any TV (with a box) in the home.

DISH only allows this from the DVR to one room. I am in the DTV MRV beta and it is a really great feature.
