Very well executed, especially when the films are intercut to show similar themes and intensity. Not a lot new here, but the murderer's row of films coming out is amazing. (Cazale's Godfather II, The Conversation, and Dog Day Afternoon were all in the theaters that year.)

Patton Oswalt and Seth Rogen aren't in it that much, but it still irks me to see guys that weren't around explaining 1975 to me. So many older artists still around to interview that were a part of that film movement. Patton Oswalt doesn't have to be in every documentary. Give him a rest.

For those that hate that the Oscars are now too political, the clips from the 1975 Academy Awards are insane. The old guard versus the young film makers going after each other on stage.

1975 was one of those watershed years in cinema history that contained some very iconic films. The Best Picture lineup for 1975-76 was pretty insane:

Barry Lyndon
Dog Day Afternoon
Jaws
Nashville
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
