First time I've watched all season--only because of Carole King.
I probably shouldn't have.
AI should really stop having these kids sing 40-50 year old music. I understand why (because today's music SUCKS :grumpyoldman:), but the target audience of AI does not know about this music, nor do they care. Actually, very few of their parents know about this music.

they both have boring personalities. And Scotty is indeed a one trick pony, but the difference is that Scotty has grown with every performance. He did exactly what Jimmy and Babyface told him to do and it worked very well for him. Not only that but whoever is styling him is helping him become more attractive. So he's changing in that sense as well.
