Claire Trevor was nominated for Best supporting Actress for 1937’s Dead End. She was onscreen for about two minutes, playing “Baby Face” Martin’s(Humphrey Bogart) former girlfriend “Francey”, now a prostitute. The lady who played Bogart’s mother should have been nominated.
