So USC goes 12-1 regular season with a loss to a Top 25 team that wins a bowl game on the road.

And yet the MNC is between two teams with the same record, one of whom loses at home to a team no one respected and the other loses on a neutral field.

But ESPN pushes USC

Obviously, you didn't watch the Rose Bowl.

Considering all the tv deals will be with ESPN/ABC by then, maybe a playoff will be easier to put together.

Yeah, and there will be a total monopoly on all games, which means they can show us what they want when they want and tell us who's good and who's not. Their influence would be scary. It already is.

Post of the year, and its not even close. You are absolutely correct. That is one of the main reasons a +1 would be terrible for college football.

Announcers do this with any team that is actually playing the game they are calling.

since 2000, all three have two NC's and USC has the better record and higher finishes.

please, please. lets no go there. I'm speaking about 2 teams, LSU and Florida, that actually played in the BCS championship game and won, thus making them each 2 time BCS champs. Not newspaper champs.

You are so right, since polls have nothing to do with the BCS championship. It's all settled on the field.....
