In 7 years we may be asking whether Kyrie will be a Laker or a Knick after his contract expires.

I meant after his next contract expires. Though he could always just sign the qualifying offer for his 5th season and be an unrestricted FA afterwards. But that will never happen.

And besides, since when do we wait for his last year before we start speculation. We started speculated with LeBron 2 years before his opt-out.

It's only 5.5 years till then now. 3 more years is 2 years from that possible date. So my original post was correct anyway.

Other than Kyrie who was a unanimous #1 they haven't shown the ability to draft players in the same way OKC did.

It looks like Thompson was a pretty damn good pick.. Dion is streaky as frick and Zeller has shown potential coming off the bench. Needs to hit the weights though.

Kyrie will be the best player PLAYING PG.

But dude is not a great passer whatsoever. He's a scoring guard in the Westbrook mold.

However, if he had LeBron....LeBron would do the facilitating anyway.

Currently its obviously the Heat, but in 2 or 3 years I think Lebron is gonna wish he was with the Cavs.

In 2 or 3 years he CAN JOIN the Cavs...

Dont be surprised...

Cavs get Andrew Wiggins in a couple years....I could see LeBron not too far behind..

I'll bite..

I think John Wall and Jrue Holiday are better "PGs" than Kyrie.

However, Kyrie is a much better player.

For example, I think Rondo is a better "PG" than Rose and Westbrook....but they are better players.
