I've said this in a few other posts about realignment - I think Notre Dame could be a decent Pac-?? fit. Get three other Northeastern schools to go with them for football only (Syracuse, Pitt, BC) and then these schools could join the Catholic schools that left the Big East for basketball and other Olympic Sports.

UNLV has proposed a new stadium idea: LINK /

Looks like 60,000 seats. It's a reasonable drive for Stanford, Cal, USC, UCLA, Utah, ASU and UA. Yeah it'd suck for Washington and Pac 12 north mostly but Atlanta isn't exactly close to College Station, Fayetville or Colombia,MO. That area of the country is spread out so I know a neutral site game is tougher logistically than say the SEC.

The PAC 12 will not expand and will sit at 12. They will not take on four schools just for the sake of getting to 16. No point in sharing the revenue with 4 more schools unless bringing in those 4 schools increases the revenue per school. That will not happen unless we get Texas from the Big 12, in which case there would be no big 12.

The other conferences can expand to 16 if they want. The PAC 12 does not have to go 16 teams, nor will they.
