Yes. The Beavers.

The International Football Alliance (IFA), a new football league, has announced that it will be bringing a team called the Alabama Beavers to Huntsville. The Alabama Beavers will reportedly be playing the 2025 football season at Joe Davis Stadium, the current home of Huntsville City FC.

The IFA is a new football league that aims to bridge the gap in international professional football. Currently, there are seven IFA teams that have been announced. Four teams are located in the US (Huntsville, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Tampa Bay), and three are located in Mexico (Chihuahua, Cancun, and Guadalajara).

Hope it succeeds, but I’ve seen em come and go, all the way back to the old Huntsville Hawks of the Continental Football League of the 60’s.

I remember the Huntsville Invaders playing at Bob Jones Stadium 30 years ago. They had a former Alabama QB and the stadium was packed.

Problem was, the organization ran up debts and bounced checks all over town. They folded after two games.

Man we had so much fun at those Invader games.
They outscored opponents about 200-zip.
