What's your view on Joba, man?

Pen/Rotation?

The Astros overperformed last year and were not nearly as good as their record.

Yes they overpreformed last year. That hurricane that came through and destroyed the city right in the middle of a playoff push really gave them the boost they needed to overpreform the way they did.

He is so much more valuable in the rotation. I am usually totally against any talk of him going to the pen. However, if Hughes can return to his pre injury form (throwing 93-95 and not 89-91) then I wouldn't mind seeing Hughes as the #5 and Joba in the Pen.

So then why the Lakers? Why not a team that is not on the other side of the country and closer to your home of Louisiana? Couldn't have had anything to do with the 3 titles they won in a row or the fact tha they are the most popular team in the NBA could it?

They are the only team with a winning record that scored less runs than they gave up. They only have one good starting pitcher and besides Berkman, Lee, and Pence their lineup sucks.

didn't say that. I said they didn't overpreform with 86 wins because they probably would have won more had there not been a hurricane

The fact that they are the most popular team in the NBA is exactly why. When I was 5 they were always on TV, so of course I would like them.

exactly, they went on another flukey hot streak in august and every astor fan just assumes that they can make the playoffs by going 55-16 every 2nd half of the year

You won't be in a World Series any time soon with the shitty farm system your management put together.

I realise our farm system is shite but as a "Yankees Fan" do you really want to tell me about how developing a farm system is the way to win? Seeing as how that is yall's moto and everything right?
