The BYE in CFP

I believe the bye is a detriment. This year should be a better litmus test.
The four teams with a bye should be the odds on favorite.
I am not sure what the odds would be for Oregon vs TTU but Tech I think would be a slight favorite on a neutral field. The other 3 are definitely favorites no matter what.
I’m more confident in Oregon with a tuneup game against JMU or Duke.
The BYE should be eliminated but then we’d need 16

Yeah but at 16 teams how will a 5 loss Bama/Ohio State/ND get in?
