LOL, the Phillies got one hit shutout by that Mets knuckleballer, I'd forgotten to check the scores until now.

Great night, Huddy's 14-5 with a 2.13 ERA.

Lowe vs Lilly tomorrow. We'll have to score some runs but Lowe should give us a chance to win it.

I laughed out loud at the free text update that said Brooks Conrad home run.

When brooks stood up I told my friend about the agon single, Conrad homer against the stros. Then said watch him go deep again, jokingly. And he went bomb, and my friend was like "dude, your mr. Cleo"

He keep lowering his ERA as rapidly as he is, and he will. Ubaldo has come back to earth, somewhat.

I can't think but he's gotta have top 3 ERA among starting pitchers with a 2.13 right?.... right?!

He's actually 2nd in ERA behind Wainwright(1.99 ERA)

Johnson - 2.27
Halladay - 2.34
Ubaldo - 2.55

but all have more K's and everyone has less walks except for Ubaldo. I'd have to think Hudson is 5th right now, maybe 4th since Johnson only has 10 wins

I hate that K's mean so much. An out is an out IMO. I think it should come down to ERA and Whip and thats it

But then again thats just my opinion.

ETA: Wins matter so much too

Yeah I agree that K's mean too much because when you have a groundball pitcher like Huddy, you're never gonna have a big amount of K's.

But yeah ERA should be two of the main things they look at along with Quality starts

Huddy is 6th in WHIP fwiw behind Wainwright, Latos, Johnson, Halladay, and Lilly

Yeah i know, but Whip is a good stat to look at when judging a Pitcher, along with QS

I'll just pray that Wainwright gets rocked like 8-9 runs for now on though

fricking fact

and that he loses most of his starts

Hudson should have 9, maybe 10 starts left if they have to skip someone in the rotation so if he can get to 20 wins, his chances will skyrocket

but Wainwright and Ubaldo have 17 already. Hudson is just fricked

I hate it for him too because he can't be any better than he has this year. Simply amazing
