I am surprised this thread hasn't been abandoned yet.

I actually like the west coast start time so I have enough time to get home from work, go to gym etc. usually it is fifth inning by the time I get home

Central time is def the best. That is always weird being in Vegas and Sunday night football ends before 9:00 and you have a weird detox and don’t know what to do and play the Los alamitos pick 4.

I spent the past weekend in jail here in Las Vegas, 36 hours in a jail cell makes you lose track of time. Only way we kind of knew what time it was, is because they had a TV in the cell that played Gone in 60 Seconds on an endless loop and we figured it was about 2.5 hours long.

Out of the 20 people in the cell only one was a tourist. He had his charges dismissed completely by the judge and they still made him wait 10 hours in the cell to be released anyway. Clark County Detention Center is hell on earth. Whatever you do here in Las Vegas just make sure you don't do anything to go to jail.

Yikes. That is awful but I can think of worse cities to be in jail. Personally I like gone in 60 seconds and could have watched it I think. My jail experiences involved screaming homeless drug addicts. And have been the absolute worst time of my life. I don’t have a real record just petty dumb college stuff years ago. More people need to go to jail imo. Would help deter some entitled behavior because if you have ever been you spend the rest of your life trying to never go back

I think what made me most upset is that I was there for a bullshite charge, I was the victim, not the perpetrator, yet I couldn't talk to a lawyer or anything and was stuck in that shithole for 24 hours before I got to see a judge, and after she released me I still had to go back and wait 10 more hours to be released. 36 hours of hell in a cold, dirty, crowded cell.

Thankfully they put the drug addicts and psychos in other cells, before putting you in a cell they interviewed you and asked questions to determine the best place to put you, so I was in a cell with mostly white college educated men, most of whom were in there for DUI. So at least I had some cool people to talk do but the conditions were just horrible.

I agree people need to go to jail just to see how shitty it is. Never again will I do anything that could possibly send me to jail. A couple guys in there with DUI listened to me tell my story about how I hadn't had any alcohol in the last 5 years and vowed to follow my lead and stop drinking overall. I was never a big drinker but when I drank it seemed like something bad always happened, so I stopped.
