Until we get another scorer David West needs to stay. I'd be all for trading him, but he's pretty much our main scoring option right now.

We're stuck with Peja for another year. No way of getting around that. At least he's producing a little this year.

If Collison continues kicking arse and we can get something for him, I'd consider trading him. CP has the PG position locked down for a few years and there is no sense keeping Collison as a backup if we could get an All Star for him.

We really need a solid SF. Someone who can score and defend. Rudy Gay is an unrestricted FA after this year, but the Hornets probably won't have enough money for him.

Emeka is solid at C. We need to keep him around, good C's are hard to come by.

Trade West and Okafor...its the only way to go...blow things up..

Okafor to SacTown with JJ Hickson coming over from Cleveland

Cleveland gets DWest JUJU and Posey

Hornets get J Thompson, Kenny Thomas, BigZ and Jawad Williams...Clears up so much Room for manuevering over the next two years..

Have a young nucleus of Thompson, Paul, Thornton, and Collison all 25 and under plus your probable top 10 pick for this year...For those who don't know much about Thompson he's a cheaper version of LaMarcus Aldridge...If he learns to play D without fouling he is an All Star candidate a legitimate 18-10 guy.

This would clear up about 18 million then you have Peja, Songaila, and Mo Petes expiring contracts the next year.
