said the rule is just that you cant "advance" a muffed punt...but the guy actually never did "advance" it at all, are you allowed to "retreat" a muffed punt?

I enjoy the debate, but we should have a stupid clause at the refs discretion that protects th likes of Towson and Kent St from embarrassing themselves.
