On Sportscenter they just said an estimated $300 Million changed hands as a result of the final fumble recovery for a TD by OSU.

I was at the Green Valley Ranch sportsbook when OSU scored that last TD. Judging by the huge reaction there, lots of money was on OSU.

Wisconsin lost 3 Rose Bowls by less than 20 points combined, including a missed two-point conversion against TCU, heartbreaking loss to Oregon on an unlikely fumble recovery inside the Oregon 30 and facing 1st and 10, and then last year an 8-5 squad threw a pick inside Stanford territory down by 6 with a few minutes left. All of this inside the great state of California, mind you.

It's not as if Wisconsin has been run off the field and embarrassed.

Also - these people think Alabama can beat NFL teams so you need to understand that you can't win any argument, because OSU will play no good teams unless we beat SEC teams. It's a lose-lose situation.

It's not about SEC teams. OSU's schedule is horrible. The BiG Ten is really, really down as of late. OSU is the only legitimate top 25 team in the conference (NW may be borderline.) Michigan, Mich State, Penn State, etc. are terrible. Plus, OSU played no one out of conference. It's just hard to justify a team playing for an NC when they don't face a legitimate team all year.

This is a fair argument and one that will be fixed in future years. The problem is that Cal was really good when they were scheduled and Vanderbilt backed out.

Next year has Navy and two BCS schools on the schedule (VA Tech and Cincinnati) and the schedules get better from there.

This year all we can do is let it play out.
