Goodyear should be banned from Indy. They completely phucked up the F1 race in 2005 because their tires can't handle the track. These new cars have more downforce and it's exposed Goodyear once again.

Phucking posers. There's a reason F1 runs Firestone.

NASCAR sucks just as bad for not letting Goodyear test the tires. They know damn good and well that Goodyear has problems on this track with cars that have good downforce. Do the tire companies have lobbiest yet? They must.

You really don't pay attention to do you? They announced it at the beginning of the race and a couple more times during the race that Goodyear did have a tire test at Indy though the only driver they named Jr as one of the test drivers. It was on Jayski and NASCAR.com a while back as well but I don't remember the other 2 drivers that tested at Indy. So don't blame NASCAR. Goodyear tested this tire and said there was no problem. Goodyear sucks it up again. This is the 2nd time in 3 yrs that Goodyear has brought a pathetic tire to Indy, and it isn't the first time this year that it has happened and at more than one track that Goodyear has tested the tires at as well.

NASCAR just needs to get a new tire provider because Tony had it right earlier in the year when he said Goodyear is pathetic.

He's not completely wrong...they had a tire test there, but didn't have a full on test with all of the teams. During the tire test there was only 3 cars which wasn't enough to "rubber up" the track so they had no idea what was on their hands for race day. Whereas in previous years I believe they had a test with all of the teams so Good Year had a better idea.

Also, Goodyear is the only tire in NASCAR because they own the exclusive contract for it...I think a lot of drivers would like to see Hoosier be able to have tires to choose from.
