The "news"?? You mean the "spin" that the Tech AD is throwing out to mask the fact that Tech was scared to play ULM?? Yeah....I heard it. About as plausible as most excuse stories are....

I had something go wrong after a "verbal contract" with a house I was renting a few years back. Needless to say, I lost when we took it to a county mediator.

Like I said, it's up for Tech to get the evidence. However, if Tech does get the proof, they have a case against the Liberty Bowl.
My hate for Van De Velde has gone down greatly. He should have taken the I Bowl, but it's looking more and more like we got fricked.

WAC Commish + our AD + if CUSA commish comes out (don't see this happening) backing the claim = Liberty Bowl in trouble

The funny thing is that ULM peeps are more MAD that they can't play Tech than Tech fans are not going to IBowl

Yes, it is sweet!! ULM is excited. That is what happens when you don't take yourself too seriously! You take time to appreciate things. ULM's senior will get rewarded for their hard work for 4-5 years. What will Tech's seniors be doing? Watching the Warhawk seniors on TV in a bowl game. I actually feel bad for the Tech seniors but the fan base can kiss my butt!

More of a case than a verbal contract, if they want to take it further. That's my experience.
