I was asking myself, “What was he thinking?” It makes no sense when QB’s do that. You need a first down, throw the ball past the first down marker! Did he actually believe that tight end had a chance of making the first down? I mean, if he had slipped out of that tackle, maybe, but that’s a big if.
Not complaining though. Never liked the Vikings.
One last thought. In those last two passes Cousins threw, why did he not try to go to JJ? I guess they were doubling him, but still, you would think that they would have tried to get him the ball in those desperate situations.
