Not all the Public Schools were in favor. The Winnfield principal led the charge.

Now, the Law of Unintended Consequences is biting them in the arse.

Just finished the subcommittee hearing. The Public School argument got destroyed. The one prevailing take away was there was absolutely no data to support the Public's argument that a competitive advantage exists. In fact, one representative bluntly asked Henderson whether the LHSAA intended to actually do in research into the allegations of competitive advantage. He avoided the question.

I doubt this hearing makes a difference though. They're a lot of jaded people on the Public School side. The feeling in the room was that, absent a legislative overturn, they were going to push this through. It's going to cause the end of the Association unless Henderson can lead these principals out of the weeds.

I doubt if Henderson could lead an army of ants to a picnic. He is scared of the principals because they hold the keys to his paycheck.

I do not think that you can change anyone's opinion on this. If they are for proposal 18, you will not be able to say anything to sway their decision. If they are against it, you will not be able to change their mind. Also, one thing to remember, the LHSAA is principal's organization. It is not a Kenny Henderson organization.
