Props to McGee for saying something, and it will look stupid on Shaq to keep this going. Just analyze the basketball games and players. Shaq got pissy when McGee spoke up for himself. NBA players aren't bums, but when you're a HOF player I guess you can say whatever.
For all his accolades, Shaq left a lot to be desired in terms of effort and energy. Again, Kobe called his arse out repeatedly and eventually got him run from LA.

I think it's all fine as long as they're making fun of him and making light of his basketball antics. Shaq should've been the bigger man on twitter and just left it alone.

I agree, Shaq should've kept quiet on this one. I will also say this, if Shaq wasn't in LA they don't have those three titles.

First, I never said he gets a pass. When Shaq deserves criticism, I'll give it. This is not one of those situations. Magee gets paid millions to play a game, if he can't handle criticism, then he should quit.

I'm sure many many old timers did worse to players faces pre-Twitter, especially after being told something as obscene as what Magee said. These types of battles between "media"(I use that lightly for Shaq, he's there for entertainment) and athletes have been going on since the beginning of sports coverage in America.

Shaq had some bad tendencies, he also won four championships. Kobe could complain all he wanted to, but without Shaq he doesn't win those titles.

Really? So you've never seen/heard of media members and athletes going after each other? There are plenty of examples out there, I'm not doing your job.
