UGA was down 31-0 at the half in their own house for a night game.

UGA lost all credit and will have to rebuild it(same as Ohio State).

No way - UGA will be back in the spotlight soon enough - cant say the same for OSU. Pollsters will have a short memory for them - being 0-3 in the last three big games for OSU is harder to forget.

WTF does that have to do with USC staying in the top ten, I didn't say a thing about anyone getting dicked except for your team. I guess you think it was legit so oh well. As for USC staying in the top 10, it's horse shite.

Florida lost by 1 to a nobody thanks to a missed xp. USC lost by 6 to a nobody thanks to a garbage time TD

Explain again wy USC's loss is better? Mississippi > Oregon State.

If UGA or Bama hadn't lost so big, they would have stayed ahead of USC (especially UGA) IMO. Now, it's UF and Wisconsin's fault for sucking and blowing their chance. If they win, USC falls 10 spots. That's about as far as you can expect a team to fall.

So you think USF is more deserving of that 9 spot?

Again, you can thank USC still being in the Top10 thanks to...

Florida has shown cracks in the foundation before...don't forget they played 3 terrible quarters against an inferior Miami team, and the offense hasn't remotely resembled last year's even though they have just as many threats. I think Florida dropping like a rock is the result of people being on the fence about them and bailing out, like they were with tOSU.

Georgia and USC however have looked good so they are being more lenient with them I think. The important thing though is:
USC drops 1-9, 8 spots.
UGA drops 3-10, 7 spots.

UGA actually dropped less spots than USC.

Don't get me wrong, both teams lost to a nobody. just happens that USC was ranked above UF and UGA, so in the end remained higher than UGA and UF.

What about USF and Boise? Undfeated with wins against as many ranked teams as USC, Boise beat a ranked Pac 2 team.

What about Vandy?

So, what you're saying is that Vandy, USF, Boise, Northwestern, etc should all be in the top10?

But that's not your arguement.

You were arguing margin of defeat. Florida had that game in OT if they make the extra point, They may have won if they could pick up 1 more yard.

USC was lucky to get a TD to get within 6 in the final minute. USC got absolutely embarassed for 186 yards by a RB that was held to 54 by Stanford! Georgia got blown out, but they at least got blown out by a ranked team.

Well, I guess I consider the two about the same.

Blown out by a good team = close loss to a bad team.

from what we've seen on the field, yeah. Above a team that's beaten one good team, one awful team and lost to a bad team. That may not be where they finish, but from what we've seen so far, yeah.

What about soundly beaten by a bad team but made it look respectabe with a late TD?

USF is arguable.

Boise St. was stupid celebration call away from OT with a winless Washington team.

They aren't a top 10 team.

USF maybe considering they're in a BCS conference, albeit the worst. Boise, no. Utah, BYU, and Boise need to stay around 10 all year until the end of the year. No one wants to see them get dominated by an SEC team in the MNC. Vandy, well, they're vandy. If they beat someone elite in the SEC, then maybe.

I would understand this logic if it took you from down 16 to down 9 or something.

They were down by 6. If they get ht onside kick they could have won the game since OSU was playing Prevent D, which everyone but DCs seems to know is garbage.

That doesn't change the fact they were down 27-14 with less than 2 minutes left. They got one of the two miricle touchdowns they needed in order to beat the 1-2 team.

All I'm saying is that USC lost to a two loss, unranked scud. They shouldn't be in the top 10. All the other stuff is in response to people defending them.
