they would get beaten down regularly in a playoff/sec....

Then what do you prove by playing them, if they are such a pushover?

I do not want to play them. I would rather play Oregon again. Boise state is a lose/lose for LSU.

Win and who cares it was Boise. Lose and you get laughed at by Vanderbilt.

I think he just went off on this "hate anything but SEC" tangent and got on a roll. I believe Wisky, OU, Boise and several other schools were belittled.

It's amazing how easily people forget the Nevada game last season. Yes that came down to major S/T break downs but if you watch the game THEY WERE WORN OUT. Their defense was sucking wind the entire 4th Qtr because they had to play! You can't tell me a team would survive that week to week in a confrence like the SEC, hell even the ACC/Big 12. They are physically NOT FIT TO PLAY 4QTR FOOTBALL week in and week out.

It's ridiculous when people say, "I wish we could get one shot at them, they'd never be heard from again." Haven't they won like 10 games against big time competition in a row? So if they were to finally lose a game against a powerhouse it would expose them? Wow, I'm glad LSU is not held to that standard.

So they should cancel the NC from now on and just vote on who seems like the deepest, most in-shape team.

I like the KIA analogy. They are well coached and very well trained to do what it is they are supposed to do. Should they keep all of their games close so they can prove to you they have 4th quarter stamina?

We already did, and Tyrone Willingham beat them. Let me repeat that, Tyrone Willingham

It's amazing how easily they forget how Boise State loss...........Remember when Kellen Moore drove them the length of the field like 18 secs or something ridiculous and then the KICKER missed a 29 yarder...........

Worn Out, yet still had the ability to have a shot at the victory.

At this point boise could win back to back at Bama and LSU and people would say, "My kid's middle school team could do that when your conference games are so easy". No matter what they do, it will be one excuse after another. Just win baby, and your ok in my book.

As long as they are in a shite conference they will never get the respect they deserve. Everyone knows that. Why do you think TCU jumped from MWC=>Big East=>Big 12?

And the only reason TCU is getting an invite is because of a Texas TV market........Not because they have the right setup for it.

Looking back lets look at who they beat of note.

Oklahoma- in 2006 (years ago)
Oregon in 2008 (9-3, that season they were good)
Oregon in 09 (Oregon was good that year so that was an impressive vicotry)
Georgia (SEC victory yeah, Georgia isn't very good this year)

Who else? Their little bowl win over TCU two years ago? No.

They are good when they have time. To play in a confrence with better competition they are not as good. How anyone can argue this is beyond me.

They do just enough to stay in the hunt but they should NEVER be allowed in the title.

Also this "NOT TOP 10 TEAM WILL SCHEDULE THEM OMG" is more then likely because they'll want a damn home and home. Nobody wants to go to Boise Idaho, sorry. There is no reason to.

I mean look

Once again, people making these arguments need to know that Boise is not a big enough research university to just "jump around" major conferences. They just play football, and play it well.
