I get disgusted at the ones that will not master the Free Throw..especially sub-seven-footers..it's an uncontested shot..from the same distance and height you've been shooting your entire basketball live..
there is more to it than that. Some Pitchers have shite curveballs, is that embarrassing? Some QBs can't throw the 10 and out, some race car drivers can't succeed on road courses. Some golfers can't putt well, but they do everything else at an elite level.

IguodalA is the saddest ft shooter in the league

it's 12 games. 14% of his season
his FT% has jumped 8 points this month. that's a pretty big jump
Meh, some guys just are streaky free throw shooters. LeBron started shooting 60%, then last month was a 84%, and is now back around 75% this month (I think, don't have time to verify). A month really isn't a good sample size to determine anything in my opinion. Often a full season is barely enough of a sample size.

By less than an inch, nearly two balls side-by-side can almost go through evenly. We're not talking Tiger at Amen Corner or Pebble Beach on a windy day. Climate controlled environ, uncontested, 13 ft to rim, 15 ft to backboard..
It came easily to me, granted I have smaller hands and height to make for more arc and trajectory. I think within a week or two I could be back to an 85% to 90+ FT shooter, and I'm old and outta shape. Hell, I used to bore of making FTs just through the net and soft rim roll, and would often practice strictly banking all FTs.
I'm not asking some big men to be Rick Barry or Kyle Macy..I realize the lack of trajectory and big hands, stiff big body, game fatigue, etc..affect things badly ..I'm just saying sub 65 to 67% is putrid..and I'm not convinced that it can't be cured by hard work.

b. it's a huge hole in his game
Not really. 65% isn't great, but it's not absolutely horrible for a PF. 75% is solid for a PF. That's a difference of 1 make per 10 FTs. He shoots about 5 FT a game, so that would be a difference of .5 points per game. Far from a huge hole.

I will give you this, if these guys like Shaq shot like Rick Barry(underhanded) they wouldn't be pulled at the end of games.
