Was he the impetus of the Parcells/Patriots split? Bob Kraft wouldn’t let Parcells have full control of personnel decisions. Parcells had a quote about they wanted him to cook the dinner, but they wouldn’t let him buy all the groceries.
Parcells didn’t want to draft Glenn. He wouldn’t call him by name, referred to him as “she” to the press, but brought him to Dallas when he was coach of the Cowboys.
Parcells was famous for riding players hard almost to the point everyone was convinced he hated them, then signing them as a free agent down the road when he was coaching another team.
